Psychological Services

Psychological Services offers individual counselling and group workshops for a wide range of concerns faced by students such as: relationship issues, adjustment issues, stress, depression/ anxiety, grief, eating disorders, sexuality issues, family problems and physical/ emotional abuse.

Along with one-on-one counselling , Psychological Services offers a variety of groups to help students learn about new skills and strategies for navigating personal and academic life. These groups also provide students with opportunities to increase self-awareness and share their personal experiences with others. These groups integrate psychological education with group discussion and emotional processing.

Groups are offered on a variety of topics including: Managing Anxiety and Stress, Emotion Regulation, Tolerating Distress and Mindfulness Meditation. Psychological Services also offers a group specifically tailored to graduate students called The Graduate Student Support Group and Public Speaking Anxiety Group.
